A small boat is launched from a Warship into rough seas with five souls onboard. A greenhorn sailor at the stern of the boat is washed overboard and comes up for air just in time to his boat steam over the next wave and out of sight. As he floats alone in the big ocean wondering if they will notice that he is gone in time to save him, his memories and stories come back to him. Join him as he recounts these stories to an old shipmate on a tropical beach in Manila as they float into drunken oblivion on waves of blessed whiskey.
